Navigating the Addiction Crisis: Prevention, Intervention, Resources, and Personal Journeys

 Meet the Panelists:

Dave Morgan, a pharmacist with extensive experience in addressing the opioid abuse epidemic, will help us understand the crisis and discuss best practices to reduce the occurrence of overdose deaths;

Gary Zalkin, an experienced mental health attorney and psychotherapist will address the legal issues and interventions available to families when seeking to intervene to help a loved one with an addiction;

Diana Clark, author and family services professional who has worked extensively with families of addicted loved ones, will offer insight into a family’s journey and useful strategies in times of turmoil;

Christopher O’Connor, will share his personal journey and perspective as a recovering person who is intimately aware of how substance abuse affects the family dynamic.
